This is Why I Homeschool My Kids

Art by 12-year-old A.M.

There are many reasons why my husband and I decided to homeschool our children. Despite the sacrifices we’ve made to do so, the decision has been well worth it.

I have written all about this topic on a personal level over at Homeschool Life where a brilliant married couple provide resources, guidance, and coaching to help others homeschool their children. They are my favorite resource because they combine peaceful parenting with homeschooling. Used alone, either peaceful parenting or homeschooling is going to upgrade your children and your family life but used together, you have the means with which to raise healthy children who develop a high level of personal agency and maintain a close relationship with you into adulthood. As a result, you raise children who can thrive as responsible and capable adults and you don’t lose your chance to keep your family united and build your legacy which will live long after you’re gone. I highly recommend their articles, podcasts, and youtube videos.
